The Dragon Institute’s unique Qigong approach (also referred to as Tai Chi and Beyond) was created by our founder, Sifu Adam Williss. Through decades of dedicated study, deep introspection, and a relentless search for truth within his practice, our Palm Coast qigong classes draw upon the essence of Qigong, Tai Chi and internal martial arts while evolving them into an original system that meets the needs of modern practitioners seeking balance, awareness, and inner strength.

While both Tai Chi and internal martial arts can be designed for both health and self-defense, our Qigong approach focuses specifically on health. It alternates between movement and stillness, while simultaneously training the body and the internal energy. Sifu Adam Williss teaches that the internal and external should be coordinated, the upper and lower body should follow each other, and the whole body should move in harmony. 

What to Expect in Class

Each Qigong session includes:

  • Gentle, circular movements to open the body
  • Breath awareness and relaxation training
  • Standing meditation for grounding and focus
  • Energy flow sequences that leave you calm and centered

Classes are a half hour long and designed to help you feel rejuvenated, not exhausted.
