Wing Chun in Richmond, VA
Dragon Family Wing Chun Small Study Group
Practical. Calm. No-Nonsense.
We are not a traditional “martial arts school.”
We are a small, serious Wing Chun study group for adults who want to train with intention.
We’re not here for belts, trophies, or flashy techniques.
We’re here to build real skill, real composure, and real self-defense.
If you’ve ever felt like most martial arts are:
-
too complicated
-
too political
-
too theatrical / fancy
-
or disconnected from real life
…our group is for you.
What We Practice
We practice Wing Chun as it was meant to be trained:
-
Simple, direct, and efficient
-
Based on structure, balance, and sensitivity
-
Calm under pressure, not emotional or aggressive
-
Practical for real people, not athletes or fighters
You won’t spend years memorizing forms before you learn how to apply them. From day one, training is connected to real movement and real situations.
Classes follow the Dragon Family Wing Chun method, created by our Sifu Adam Williss… one of the most respected Wing Chun teachers today.

Who This Group Is For
This group is for:
-
Working adults who want meaningful training without wasting time
-
Adults who want to feel more capable and confident in everyday life

About our Group Leader
Our group is led by Brandon Malone a dedicated Wing Chun practitioner of Dragon Family Wing Chun under Sifu Adam Williss. We are a branch of the Leung Sheung lineage. Leung Sheung was Ip Man’s senior-most student in Hong Kong.
The focus is not on titles or hierarchy… but on learning, discipline, and steady progress.

Why Our Study Group Exists
Wing Chun is often taught in ways that make it feel mysterious, complicated, or impractical.
Dragon Family Wing Chun strips all of that away.
No politics.
No ego.
No unnecessary tradition for tradition’s sake.
Just clear, effective Wing Chun training with people who take it seriously.
