What Still Tells the Truth

Wing Chun isn’t about becoming dangerous.

It’s about becoming precise. At 80, the question won’t be “Can I still do this?”

It’ll be “Does this still tell me the truth?”

    I’m not chasing athletic dominance.

I’m building durability, something I can still do at 80 without lying to myself.

In agreement. I’m closer to 70 than 65 and I too am not looking to be dangerous or dominate. I am looking at things around me differently though. Confidently knowing I still can do this and look forward to the inner growth as much as the outer skill set growth to be able to handle whatever comes my way. Practicing each day helps me to be durable for the next day. This journey is good and yet at present (truth be told) I’m still just a beginner.

I am approaching 78 in 2 Months , So far I am confident I can still do Wing Chun , For me it’s about Learning a New Skill and knowing I can Protect Myself if ever needed.
