    Hello,

I’m 51 and began Wing Chun 1 yr ago. I have an extensive martial arts background with various belts and degrees. I have been involved in martial arts since 16yrs old. I have a very different mindset now compared to my youth. I am Wing Chun! I think, breathe, eat Wing Chun. I train for me, not for the belt or tournaments. I love Dragon Family Wing Chun because Sifu’s attention to detail! STRUCTURE!.

I’m 65 and started WC three years ago. I studied several Japanese martial arts in my younger years – but wish I had discovered WC much sooner. My mind, body and life are now much the better for it by practicing WC regularly. Truth be told though, I don’t know that I would have had the time to really commit to WC when I was working 50-60 hours/week. Most things seem to happen when they’re supposed to.

I’m 60 years old and started Wing Chun in August of this year. So I’m a baby in the art. I appreciate the thoroughness of lessons and access to internet info. This all helps me in the learning process. Thank you Sufi Adam

I am in my late 60s. The benefits of Wing Chun I am experiencing are improved balance, flexibility, and a higher state of awareness. I really appreciate daily practices. This martial has really improved my quality of life. Thanks!

I’m 67 and started with the Dragon Family this past April. I’m pleasantly surprised at the number of students are in my age range! Yay! I dabbled a little bit in Wing Chun in my 50’s because my son and I started training in Goju Ryu in 2007. That means my “martial arts career” began and the young age of 49! Whoa! Never in my wildest dreams!!!!! Anyway, there were a few wing chun clinics at our dojo and then we started what we liked to call a “regular class”, however, it fizzled fairly quickly. I am so happy to have found Sifu Adam and the Dragon Family. I appreciate knowing that I have so many resources, not only the online program, but all of you to help me learn, understand and appreciate this amazing art! Thank you all!!! Looking forward to training with all of you in 2026!

I’m 68. I Started with the Dragon Institute In August 2025. Had private lessons a year before that. This is a good format. Sifu Adam breaks down and explains the why as well as the how and offers the support system. I do wish some of you lived nearby so we could practice together. But, this is working.
