    45 minutes total.

10 mins of mook jong with emphasis on feeling forward energy, plus proper cadence.

30 mins of meditative siu nim tao, slow drilling, and slow sun fist chain punching (focusing on penetrating energy, keeping shoulders out of the movement, and letting the elbow push the fists forward).

5 minute cool down of faster siu nim tao.

    Trained 20 minutes tonight.

10 min of warm ups and stretches, goblet squats and one-leg raises

5 min of SNT medium speed

5 min of dummy in the air

Noticed that during SNT I tilt my chin down sometimes and sort of look through my eyebrows kind of thing!

    70 minutes total training.

30 minutes of mook jong in the morning. Spent the time focusing on forward energy and structure. Noticed that speed is coming naturally now, but am still keeping proper cadence.

30 minutes of chum kiu, chain punch, and sil lin di da drills. Noticed my pivot into bong sao in chum kiu has really improved. Finished with long range striking and kicking drills.

10 minute siu nim tao. Focused on feeling the energy and structure of the form work together.

    60 minutes total training.

15 minutes of siu nim tao – once slow and once faster. Focused on feeling the grounding in my feet and the proper feeling of ting yiu.

25 minutes of drilling – chain punching, bong sao to lop sao, 5 das. Focused on pivoting. Worked also on chasing footwork with chain punching.

10 mins of kicking and biu jee striking.

10 mins of mook jong – noticed the pivoting places the bong sao in the correct position each time.

    30 minutes today

    10 min – warm-ups, goblet squats, 1 leg raises

15 min – SNT at different speeds – realized that tilting my head down is due to my following videos on my lap top which is on the counter so I have to look down since I’m standing. Duh! Gotta raise my computer so I don’t create a back habit resulting in poor structure!

5 min – wooden dummy in the air fast and slow

Started my practice for the first time today after signing up for the free trial. I’m going to be a week behind, but enjoyed the first day of practice. My head is spinning a bit after the first 2 practice moves, which I will continue with daily for a week before taking the quiz and hopefully ready for week 2.

    Thank you!

    20 minutes today

started with one rep of SNT against a door frame with a 4x4x4 (actually a Tupperware container) just above my knees to focus on Kim Sut. Ow! Felt like all my weight was on the balls of my feet and A LOT of tension in my neck! Took me 5 minutes to do SNT one time!

Approx. 15 min. Did my stretches/warm-ups after SNT today. Felt good. I was pretty tense doing the form so this helped me relax. Tomorrow I’ll see how SNT with focus on Kim Sut goes by doing the stretches first.

A few quick reps of wooden dummy in the air.. Took give-or-take two minutes.
