Hi! I was trying to follow along with some of the drills on the Intranet today and I have a question. When would we use a low goang sao vs. gwat sao? Thank you!

A gwat sao is used in long bridge and a lower goang is used in closer bridges. The gwat creates more of a rounder space with the palm facing down while the lower goang slices directly along the central plane with the botht he elbow and the knife edge of the hand facing down. Make getting good at the gwat sao a priority before the goang sao. Applying long bridge requires less structural development than closer bridges.
