46 min tonight.
15 min – warm-ups, stretches, squats, 1-leg raises.
5 min – Chum Kiu opening.
22 min. – one slow SNT against the door jam with the block. If I lowered my stance I didn’t feel I was so forward on the balls of my feet.
2 min – wooden dummy in the air.
2 min. chain punching. Noticed that I have to keep putting my thumbs back on top of my fists.

20-minute warmup and PT
1x 10-minute Siu Nim Tao
(Knee feeling more stable during this today)
5x Dummy #10 and #20 Very slow and slightly modified to not twist my knee
1x Chum Kiu – I had to modify the pivots in Chum Kiu to accommodate the knee, but I wanted to practice to make sure I keep working the form and motions. Will perfect when knee is more stable.

56 minutes tonight.
17 min – warm-ups, stretches, squats, 1-leg raises.
4 min – chain punching sometimes in the air, sometimes on a wall bag, sometimes on BOB.
3 min – Chum Kiu opening moves.
16 min – SNT 1x against a piece of exercise equipment (you use what you can!!!). Didn’t have a block. Not as hard as against the door jam with a block. So…..not getting as much out of it this way.
5 min. – wooden dummy #10 different speeds.
8 min – high and mid pak, goang, and gwat drills. Did them on the wooden dummy since I didn’t have a partner but I did have a dummy. Interesting from a sensitivity perspective.
3 min – 1-2-1 drill. Did this in the air and on BOB. Reminded me of moving around the mook jong. Distance was a challenge. It was nice to be able to put a little “Oomph” behind my punches though.

70-minute practice
20-minute warmup and PT
8-minute Siu Nim Tao (morning)
5x #10 and #20 on the dummy.
Sil Lin Di Das (150 Punches on wall bag)
Siu Nim Tao (evening)
So, having a Mook Jong is probably the best thing ever. I have it in my office and I have the opportunity to get work on in-between work tasks. 🙂 Also, knee is feeling a tad better today. Last year it took 3 months to rehab this injury. After 4 months of Dragon Family Wing Chun the rehab is taking weeks not months!!!!
