15 min – warm-ups, stretches, squats, leg raises.
8 min – one slow SNT against door jam with block. Tonight I focused on Ting Yiu since I seem to struggle with that. Had to correct it fairly often, but when it was “right”, my lower back was more flat against the wall than I expected. My chin was sticking out though. Something else to work on!
13 min – Chum Kiu reps through R pierce, double chamber. Changed my directions (N, S, E, W) on reps so I wouldn’t orient my moves to the room.
5 min – Mook Jong #10 + first 10 moves of #20. Pretty smooth!

6 min – one slow SNT against door jam with block. My Ting Yiu is getting better. However, now I’m noticing that my shoulders are not staying back. They’re kind of doing okay as far as staying down. And, my neck did bother me tonight, but different muscles – was on the sides. Tonight is was up the back.
11 min – Chum Kiu going in different directions again.
5 min – Mook Jong in the air #10 and first 10 moves of #20.

12 min – Chum Kiu through R pierce, double chamber. Did the form in 8 directions (N, NE, E, etc. so I break being oriented to my training space. Also worked on shoulders back and down.
7 min – Mook Jong #10 + first ten moves of #20. Again, worked on shoulders back and down. I thought I was doing pretty well with that, but my lats are telling me otherwise! 😛

1xSNT@8mins – I was pleased to find a meditative state of mind and maintain relaxation and root throughout. Next time, would be even better to manage proper elbow position or extension appropriately in all movements!

33 minutes tonight. Crazy busy day today so practice time was a bit short. Have to practice though because you don’t only have a confrontation when you have plenty of energy.
11 min – warm-ups, stretches, squats, leg raises.
11 min – Chum Kiu through R punch, double chamber. Did multiple directions to disrupt orientation.
6 min – Mook Jong #10 + first ten moves of #20.
6 min – SNT again door jam with block.
Was very tired tonight, but tried to focus on shoulders down and back.
Not my best training night.
