Founded by Wing Chun Sifu Adam Williss, The Dragon Institute’s brand of Wing Chun is referred to as Dragon Family Wing Chun – an approach dedicated to high quality Wing Chun through honest, simple and practical hard work.

Our Wing Chun school’s lineage stems from Yip Man (aka Ip Man) who is best known as Bruce Lee’s teacher. We are honored to be affiliated with the Worldwide Leung Sheung Lineage Association (WLSLA) – the principal organization dedicated to preserving the essence and Wing Chun principles as passed down by the late, great Leung Sheung (Yip Man’s senior-most student in Hong Kong).

About Wing Chun Kung Fu

Wing Chun Kung Fu is amazing in how unique it is from other martial arts. It differs because it is a concept-based art rather than a technique-based art. Scientific concepts of physics, anatomy and physiology guide Wing Chun’s actions. Instead of teaching techniques, Wing Chun teaches the underlying principles behind techniques. Because of this, Wing Chun makes you approach issues/conflicts an entirely different ways than 99% of the world… cutting through complexity in order to get to the essence of a problem.
