Origins of Dana Point Tai Chi / Qigong
Our Dana Point Tai Chi / Qigong practice is based largely on the internal principles of the traditional Chinese Taoist internal arts. Our Tai Chi / Qigong incorporates movements and energy work from Tai Chi’s Chen Village – the oldest known family of Tai Chi. Other influences include the soft, energetic elements hidden within a internal, soft approach to the art of Wing Chun (AKA Yong Chun Chuan).
Note that this class is non-combative. They work to unify the traditional internal principles of body alignment with a philosophy that embodies the inherent connection between ourselves and the environment.
